Earlier this year, I saw the Grand Budapest Hotel. As a big Wes Anderson fan, I was very excited to see another one of his films with their quirky storylines and whimsical twists on reality. One thing I particularly loved about this particular movie was all of the unique design elements created by graphic designer Annie Atkins. Recognizing the thought and detail put into every single piece gave me a new appreciation of design and perspective of its influence in film. Here are some of my favourites:
